This series is a collection of photographs taken during my time as a photographer with a community newspaper. Part of my role required me to report on local stories, and as a photographer, I would source images for the articles I wrote and also on behalf of other contributors to the publication.

The position gave me broad access to various areas within the working-class neighbourhoods of Liverpool I operated, from stories on foodbanks and community campaigns to boxing match coverage and local artist interviews. The newspaper had always been printed in black and white, so all the photography was shot in monochrome, mainly on digital and a few images on 35mm film.
